Confronting Israeli Apartheid student conference fundraising appeal

flagsOver the past several months, students from Palestine solidarity groups across the UK have been working together to organise a major UK-wide student conference on the Palestine solidarity movement, ‘Confronting Israeli Apartheid : Building the Student Movement for Palestine’, which will be held in London on the 12th -13th of October 2013. With already 1 30 people registered, the conference aims to bring together student activists for a weekend of organising, resource sharing and networking in order to build more effective BDS campaigns on campuses this coming year.

This unique conference will focus on a variety of skills-building workshops and training that will lead to stronger campaigns on campuses. We hope that this event will help to build a stronger foundation for a UK-wide student network which is able to organise nationally on important campaigns such as Israeli Apartheid Week, the Right to Education campaign and various campus boycotts.

In order for the conference to take place, we require a small budget to cover our costs. We are appealing to organisations and individuals to support us by making a donation. Our costs include printing resources, covering transport for speakers and providing tea and coffee during the conference. Any donation, however small, is very much appreciated.

If you wish to donate, please do so by clicking the ‘donate’ button at
